PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

Please keep yards clean of debris and weeds, we have an ordinance in
place and if the city workers have to come out to your property
and clean and mow, you will receive a bill for the services performed.

RENTAL PROPERTIES

If you own or are living in a rental property, please contact the city
office at (903) 652-3875 with the owner/landlord name and contact number
so that we can track rental properties.

TORNADO SIREN TEST

The first Friday of every month the Deport City Fire Department will be testing the tornado sirens between 10:30am and 11:00am.

~UPDATES~

FEE INCREASE FOR LATE PAYMENT OF WATER BILLS

As voted on by the city council at their regular meeting on 6/28/21, the fee for late payment of water bills will be $12 as of 8/1/21.

SALES TAX INCREASE

Effective 10/1/21, city sales tax will increase by one half percent per the vote on 5/1/21.

TRASH SERVICE FEE

Effective 01/01/24 trash service fees will increase to $19.05 per poly-cart according to the contract with our sanitation provider.
